CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are investigating after a shots fired call led to a crash on Providence Blvd. Thursday morning.

Police responded to the shots fired call April 18 around 2:50 a.m. at the Starlite Lounge on Fort Campbell Blvd. Around the same time, officers discovered a crash on 208 Providence Blvd. that caused traffic issues in the area throughout the morning.

Investigators determined the two suspects from the shots fired incident pursued their intended target as the victim(s) fled the scene. Police said the suspects then rammed the victim’s vehicle, which caused the crash.

It is unclear how many people were injured in the victim’s vehicle, but the injuries were minor.

The suspects were transported to a medical facility for treatment. Warrants have been secured for their arrests and more information will be provided once they are booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
