The Clarksville Police Department hosted the inaugural “Run For C.O.P.S.” 5K Run/Walk Saturday, May 9 in downtown Clarksville. C.O.P.S, Concerns of Police Survivors, provides resources to help families deal with the loss of a loved one who was killed in the line of duty. Captain Scott Thorton with the Clarksville Police Department said their were 104 participants and the event raised $1,665 for the C.O.P.S. organization.
