CLARKSVILE, TN – The Clarksville Rugby Club is charging into 2026 with renewed energy as the Headhunters and Huntresses officially return to the pitch, ready to build on the club’s proud tradition and grow the game locally.

After a strong foundation in past seasons, the club is actively recruiting new players for both its men’s and women’s sides. No prior rugby experience is required, and organizers emphasize that athletes of all backgrounds are welcome. Whether seasoned competitors or first-time players looking for a new challenge, the Clarksville Rugby Club offers an opportunity to be part of a tight-knit community built on teamwork, discipline, and respect.

Training for the 2026 season begins January 13, with practices held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Dixon Park. These sessions will focus on fitness, fundamentals, and team cohesion as the squads prepare for competitive play in the spring.

Excitement is already building for the club’s first match of the year, scheduled for January 31, marking the official kickoff of the 2026 campaign. Club leaders say the early start reflects their commitment to development and readiness, setting the tone for a successful season ahead.
