CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Rotary Club is planning its 50th Annual Auction and Dinner, set for Valentine’s Day, February 14 from 5-10 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Both a live and silent auction will be held to raise funds to aid local charities. The event will have a 007 James Bond theme and will feature music from the band “Entice”.
Both the Sunrise and Sunset Rotary Clubs are joining Clarksville Rotary with money raised from the auction and dinner going to build a handicapped playground and a splash pad at Heritage Park. Funds will also be donated to the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security Foundation to buy bullet resistant vests for female Tennessee State Troopers.
