CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Regional Airport is offering two vintage open cockpit ride experiences this week.
From October 14 – 16 passengers can have a unique view of the fall foliage and pilot the vintage plane.
The event is at the Clarksville Regional Airport, also known as Outlaw Field, from 10:0m – 6:00 pm each day and reservations are still available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A 1942 Boeing Stearman flown by Rob “Waldo” Lock will take up single riders at a time, and they will have the opportunity to fly the airplane for 20 minutes at $200 per person. There is a weight limit per passenger of 275 lbs or less, and all guests must be over 5 feet tall.
A 1929 Travel Air 4000 flown by David “Candyman” Mars will be taking up to two guests up at a time for rides at $90 per person, all ages are welcome. There is a weight limit per passenger of 220 lbs or less.
