CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Association of REALTORS® held its Annual Installation and Awards Luncheon on January 9, 2019 at the Wilma Rudolph Events Center.
Charles Pecka, 2018 President of the Association, acted as Master of Ceremony.
Special guests in attendance were: Clarksville Mayor, Joe Pitts; Clarksville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Melinda Shephard; Kathy Tucker of Chattanooga, the 2019 President of TN REALTORS®; Angela Shields, CEO of TN REALTORS; Leon Williams of Memphis, the Immediate Past President of TN REALTORS®; and Congressman Mark Green’s District Director, Steve Allbrooks and Field Representative, Mark Crain.
Toniann Thompson of Keller Williams Realty was awarded the 2019 REALTOR® of the Year award for service and contributions to the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® above and beyond the call of duty.
Kayla Pierson of Century 21 Platinum Properties was awarded the 2018 President’s Award by President Charles Pecka for her contributions to the success of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® this year.
Charles Pecka of Century 21 Platinum Properties was awarded the 2018 Decade of Achievement Award for continuous exemplary Service and Contributions to the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® for the last 10 years.
Michelle Lochner of Sweet Home Realty and Property Management was awarded the 2018 Rising Star Award for outstanding Service and Contributions to the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® in her first 2 years with the organization.
Veterans United Home Loans was awarded the 2018 Affiliate Partner of the Year Award for their company culture of supporting and participating in the development of the members of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS®.
Robert Garcia and Joann Garcia of Reliant Realty, Ashlee Jankovich of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Pen Fed Realty, Cynthia Pendleton of Crye-Lieke and Jake Sims of Sweet Home Realty and Property Management were awarded the 2018 Educational Achievement Award for the exemplary efforts in continuing their REALTOR® Education.
Also recognized were the graduates of the Leadership CAR Class of 2018.
Lisa Boyd, 2013 Realtor of the Year, installed the Officers and Directors. 2019 Officers Installed are Eric Boyd, President; Marcy Neysmith; 2019 President Elect and Larry Evans, Treasurer.
Members of the Association’s Board of Directors for 2019 are Christian Black, Joann Garcia, Kim Weyrach, Marion Jewell, Randy Whetsell, Kaitlyn Bonds and Charles Pecka, Immediate Past President.
The Clarksville Association of REALTORS® has over 975 active members and 201 Affiliate Partners that work together to improve the public awareness of the value of Realtors to the community and to the benefits of their services. The Clarksville Association of REALTORS® also serves to promote the success and future developments of its members in association with the Tennessee and National Associations of REALTORS®.
