CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Clarksville Police are trying to identify a man that deposited a counterfeit check in a compromised credit union account.
Unknown suspect(s) unsuccessfully attempted to deposit several counterfeit checks for almost $5,000 in a woman’s compromised credit union account.
There was one successful deposit of a counterfeit check from a Nashville business to her account for $499 on Sept 19 in Clarksville.
The suspect and the vehicle he was driving were caught on surveillance footage.
