CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville woman was cited after crashing her car into a fire truck that was at the scene of another accident on Tiny Town Rd. Friday morning.
Emergency responders were working a crash on Tiny Town Rd. near Princeton Ct. around 7 a.m. when a 40-year-old woman driving a 2009 Nissan SUV east on Tiny Town Rd. crashed into the back of the stationary fire truck.
The driver of the Nissan told police her vision was obscured by the bright sunlight and did not see the truck.
The driver of the Nissan was transported by ambulance to Skyline with a non life-threatening facial injury. No emergency responders were injured.
The woman was cited for failure to use reasonable care and a seat belt violation.
