Clarksville Police Union to shop with underprivileged children

The kids will shop for clothes

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Union will participate in the Clothe a Child program Saturday, Sept. 14 at 8 a.m. at the Sango Wal-Mart.

Fifty underprivileged children will each have $100 to spend on clothes and will go shopping with members of the Clarksville Police Union. The children have been selected from 10 elementary schools throughout Montgomery County.

The event is expected to last about an hour. Detective Tyler Barrett urges anyone who is interested in helping to participate.
