Officers with the Clarksville Police Department collected tips as servers at a Tip-A-Cop event benefitting Special Olympics Tennessee.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Officers with the Clarksville Police Department were at O’ Charley’s restaurant on Riverside Drive Wednesday at lunch and dinner supporting Special Olympics Tennessee with their Tip-A-Cop event.
A total of $2,700 was raised by officers as they acted as servers.

Special Olympics Tennessee provides year-round sports training, competition, health and education opportunities for adults and children ages 2 and up with intellectual disabilities.
On Friday, Jan. 28, officers will be at Strawberry Alley Ale Works, 103 Strawberry Alley, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for lunch and 5-7 p.m. for dinner.
The fundraising for Special Olympics Tennessee continues on Saturday, Feb. 5 as the Clarksville Police Department hosts the 2022 Polar Plunge-Freezin’ for a Reason at the Foy Pool at Austin Peay State University.
