CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) is looking for a suspect with four aggravated assault warrants on file.

According to a news release, officers were flagged down on Tobacco Rd. March 29 around 11:30 a.m. by four women who said they had been shot at by 26-year-old Clarence Smith. They said he fled the area in a white Cadillac with a temporary tag.

There were visible bullet holes in the car the car occupied by the women. They said they knew Smith through a domestic relationship.

Officers spotted the Cadillac on Peachers Mill Rd. but it sped off when they tried to pull it over.

The suspect abandoned the vehicle on Cedarcrest Drive. After combing the area officers were unable to locate him.
