CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- The Clarksville Police Department hosted a promotion ceremony Jan. 8.

After Mayor Kim McMillan’s opening comments, Chief Al Ansley presented Sergeant Steven Hamilton with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Lieutenant, Officer Jeffrey Scott Jackson with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Sergeant, and Agent Griffie Briggs with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Sergeant.
