CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – On Friday, June 14, the Clarksville Police Department held a promotion ceremony at Freedom Point Event Center at Liberty Park, promoting two officers.
Detective William “Billy” Gilboy was promoted to Sergeant, effective June 14, 2024. Sgt. Gilboy joined CPD in October 2010.
Sergeant Cory Coleman was promoted to Lieutenant, effective June 14, 2024. Lt. Coleman joined CPD in July 2013.
They have all accepted the challenges ahead of them, and continue to serve the citizens of Clarksville with the utmost professionalism.
