Capt. Chad Koyama was one of the officers running. “We’ve done Tip-A-Cop, the Polar Plunge, and this is just to raise awareness. We’ll be running a torch down Madison Street to McAadoo Creek Road, and from there we’ll take it in a van to Ashland City and then it will be transported to Nashville.”
Also supporting the Torch Run was David Brown with State Farm on Madison Street, who supported the run by providing lunch for first responders.
This year, Special Olympics Tennessee is completing the statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run carrying the Flame of Hope across the state. The goal is to have the entire state completed by the end of July.
