CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Clarksville Police have located and arrested a man charged with multiple car burglaries and thefts.

On Oct. 11, CPD asked for the public’s assistance to locate Shomari Moody, 18 who had allegedly been involved with several vehicle burglaries and motor vehicle thefts over the past four months.

During the summer, Moody was arrested after he allegedly tried to enter multiple vehicles in subdivisions off of Fuji Lane, Ridgepole Drive, and Sharpie Drive.

Police arrested Moody on Oct. 22 and charged him with theft of property, simple possession and auto theft.  He is in the Montgomery County Jail with his bond set at $226,000.

Clarksville Police thanked the media and public for assistance in locating Moody.
