CLARKSVILLE, TN − Clarksville Parks and Recreation invites local families to join the Bicycle Safety Rodeo on Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Northeast Middle School.
This fun and educational event is designed to promote bike safety for riders of all ages. Participants will be able to engage in various bike safety activities, including helmet checks, bike fittings, wheel inspections, and learning essential safety rules and riding techniques. Parents must attend with their children to ensure everyone gets the most out of this valuable learning experience. Attendees should bring their own bicycles to take part in the rodeo.
In addition to safety lessons, there will be exciting bike raffles and helmet giveaways to ensure that everyone is riding safely. The first to arrive can also enjoy free popcorn and snow cones while supplies last!
The event’s presenting sponsor is Bikes & Moore, with additional support from Daniel Ingram of GEICO Insurance.
“We’re thrilled to offer this event to help the community ride safely and confidently,” said Ereka Clark, Recreation Superintendent for Clarksville Parks and Recreation. “This is a fantastic opportunity for riders of all skill levels to brush up on bike safety and have some fun in the process.”
