CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Parks & Recreation hosted a new event for the community Saturday: the Family Formal. More than 200 people attended the event, with family members of all ages stopping by the Wilma Rudolph Event Center and enjoying an evening of music, dancing, food and a whole lot of fun.
“It is the first time that we have done an all-inclusive, every member of the family welcome, event like this,” said Amanda Pitt, event planning specialist with Parks & Recreation. “We did Father Daughter Date Night for almost a decade, and it was time to bring in the mothers and the sons and everybody else in the family.”
