CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – This holiday season, Clarksville Parks & Recreation invites locals to participate in a new tradition with the Christmas Light Run. Experience the dazzling lights in a whole new way on Saturday, December 14, from 4-6 p.m. at McGregor Park.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of new lights for the Christmas on the Cumberland display.
Registrants can choose to participate in either the one-mile event ($10) or the 5k ($20) beginning at 4 p.m. Online registration can be completed online. Participants can register in-person Monday-Friday, 8 a.m-4:30 p.m, at the Parks & Recreation office (102 Public Square, Downtown Clarksville). Registration closes on Wednesday, December 11.
Christmas on the Cumberland, Clarksville’s popular lighted walk-through event, is open nightly from 5-10 p.m Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays beginning on November 26. Admission is free.
