CLARKSVILLE, TN − Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program as part of the Summer Youth Program (SYP). Free meals will be provided to all eligible children who are participating in SYP.

To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential or non-residential camp, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program. The income guidelines for reduced-price meals by family size are listed on the next page. Children who are part of households that receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly food stamps) benefits or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

  • Crow Recreation Center, Lunch: 10 am-noon, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Burt Cobb Recreation Center, Lunch: noon-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Kleeman Recreation Center, Lunch: 11:30 am-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Byrns Darden Elementary School, Lunch: 11:30 am-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Norman Smith Elementary School, Lunch: noon-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Moore Magnet School, Lunch: Noon-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Kenwood Elementary School, Lunch: 11:30 am-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Hazelwood Elementary School, Lunch: 11 am-1 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
  • Kirkwood Elementary School, Lunch: 10:30 am-12:30 pm, Snack: 2-3 pm
