CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Millenials are flocking to certain cities in the U.S. with the best rates for rent, and Clarksville is among them.
According to a RealtyTrac survey published by mainstreet.com, buying a home is much cheaper than renting. However, some cities are attracting the millennial population with fair market rental rates for a three-bedroom dwelling that averages 30 percent of the renter’s household income.
RealtyTrac analysis named Clarksville number nine on its list, ranking it alongside cities like San Francisco, Portland, and Denver.
