CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man who has been charged in a fatal 2015 shooting on College Street has been arrested again on drug charges.
According to previous news releases, 19-year-old Tequan Evans was initially charged in May 2015 with criminal homicide for the shooting death of 20-year-old Charles Whitfield during a party.

Criminal homicide charges for Evans were dropped in June pending a grand jury presentation. When police took Evans into custody, they found him in possession of a Taurus .380 handgun and $409 in cash.
Evans was arrested and charged with evading arrest, possession of firearm during felony, drug violations, simple possession, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $125,000.
