MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – With City and County officials continuing clean up efforts following Saturday’s storms, and many residents still without power, Clarksville-Montgomery Schools System has announced that there will be no school on Monday, October 28.

As a result of Saturday’s severe weather, which included 40+ mph winds, many schools are currently without internet connectivity as well as other critical systems. Downed trees and traffic signal outages also pose a threat to school bus routes.

To ensure the safety of students and their families, CMCSS has cancelled school on Monday, October 28. 12-month employees, including the custodians, will report to work as normal

It has not yet been decided if after-school activities will meet. Stay tuned to CMCSS’s Facebook for updates on the situation.
