CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – After being closed for the past two school days, the Clarksville Montgomery County School System has also closed all schools and district offices for Friday, Feb. 21, as well.
In a news release sent to parents, CMCSS said, “From tornado watches, to flooding, to over 5 inches of snow in many parts of Clarksville-Montgomery County, with an additional ‘surprise’ snow overnight, this week has been a demonstration of our region’s infamously unpredictable weather.”
The school system asks families to continue to exercise caution while traveling, and with temperatures set to be in the 40’s and 50’s this weekend, CMCSS does not anticipate any disruptions to reopening on Monday, Feb. 24.
