CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (Clarksvillenow.com) Organizers of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Clarksville-Montgomery County have announced the event, scheduled for Friday, May 20, is being postponed. The forecast is calling for rain and thunderstorms Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.
Since Relay for life is held outdoors at the the Hilldale Baptist Church Family Life Center, 250 Old Farmers Road activity field, the area would not be suitable for the event. The ground is already very wet from rain over the past few days.
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Clarksville-Montgomery County has been rescheduled for Friday, June 3 at 6:00 p.m. with all of the activities taking place that were planned for this Friday evening.
