CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is proud to partner with the USO to host the 2026 USO MilKid Art Show, an annual event celebrating the creativity, resilience, and voices of military children across the region.
The exhibition will be displayed at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library Main Branch throughout April 2026, showcasing artwork created by military-connected youth. This year’s theme, “Through My Parent’s Boots,” invites young artists to share their perspectives on military life by reflecting on the experiences of their service member parent. Through this theme, children are encouraged to express how they see the world through the lens of service, sacrifice, and family.
A Gallery Opening Celebration will be held at 11:30 AM on April 11, at the library to honor the participating artists and their families. Community members are invited to enjoy light refreshments and celebrate the creativity and unique perspectives of these young artists. The event will also feature a fun craft and Lego building stations.
“The MilKid Art Show is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strength and creativity of military children,” said Ann Jarvis, USO Executive Director. “We are proud to partner with the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library to give these young artists a platform to share their stories and highlight their important role in the military community.”
