CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man charged in two separate murder cases has been sentenced to 47 and a half years in prison after pleading guilty in both.

According to court documents, Joshua Aretz pleaded guilty to a charge of second degree murder for both cases.

Aretz was first arrested in connection with the death of 19-year-old Adam Marquez on Needmore Rd. in Aug. 2014.

He was later named as a suspect in the murder of Fort Campbell soldier Liperial Easterling on Aug. 9 of 2015.
