CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man is jailed on homicide charges in the death of his father.
Tyran Jemison, 41, was arrested Thursday in the death of Britton Jemison, 58.
According to Clarksville Police Sgt. Charles Gill, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Howard St. at 1:11 a.m. Thursday following a report of a domestic assault in progress.
When they arrived on scene they found the elder Jemison with injuries consistent with an assault. He was transported to Gateway Medical Center where he died.
The responding officers took his son, Tyran Jemison, into custody on charges of criminal homicide. He is being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
