CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury this month on allegations of solicitation of a minor and child rape.
58-year-old John Wayne South has been charged with solicitation of a minor, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor, child rape, and aggravated sexual battery.
According to an indictment, South is accused of soliciting and having sexual contact with a child who was under the age of 13 between April 2011 and April 2012.
South was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday on a $50,000 bond.
