CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury in two separate murder cases, both of which occurred in May 2018.

Court documents show that Timothy Ogburn, 27, was indicted during the October session for the murders of Tanesha Hardy and Julian Torres.

The first indictment says Ogburn is charged with premeditated murder for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Torres on May 20, 2018. Torres was found with a gunshot wound behind Bob’s Discount Tobacco on Providence Blvd. He was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Ogburn is also charged with one count of a convicted felon going armed. He was convicted of aggravated robbery in 2011.

The second indictment charges Ogburn with one count of premeditated murder in the death of Tanesha Hardy, who was found shot inside a car on Mitchell Street on May 23, 2018, just days after the first shooting.

Ogburn is also accused of shooting at the vehicle with two other people inside. He is charged with two counts of premeditated murder, two counts of attempted first degree murder, and one count of a convicted felon going armed.

The connection between these crimes is unclear at this time.

Ogburn’s next hearing is set for Nov. 5.
