CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 26-year-old man remains in critical condition after a vehicular accident involving a motorcycle. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on July 20 in Clarksville.

Travis Burkhart, 23, was driving a 2008 Dodge truck on Fort Campbell Blvd. He attempted to make a left hand turn on Concord Drive.

He crossed into the path of a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle ridden by Jeffery Clark, 26, of Arkansas.

Clark was transported by Life Flight to Nashville with critical injuries.  He remains in critical condition as of Monday.

After completion of field sobriety tests, Burkhart was transported to Montgomery County jail. Burkhart has been charged with Vehicular Assault. His bond was set at $10,000.
