CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A Clarksville man was indicted in the June term of the Montgomery County grand jury on accusations he distributed drugs that led to the death of a person.

Mario Garay Bodella, 37, of Clarksville,  is charged with one count of second degree murder, sale or delivery of Fentanyl, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to his indictment, on December 17, 2019, Bodella allegedly killed a person by unlawfully distributing a Schedule II drug: Fentanyl, to the person and the use of the drug was the proximate cause of death.

Bodella was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $40,000.

The victim’s name was not released, but he was a 32-year-old man, according to Clarksville Police.
