CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man was arrested April 21 for allegedly beating his manager unconscious.
An arrest warrant states that the victim was talking to his employee, 24-year-old Darryl Ford, about a theft at the S. Riverside Dr. business.
A witness told police he was not in the room during the conversation but saw Ford rush out of the room and then out of the store.
The witness found the victim unconscious with his head on a table.
Security video footage shows Ford standing up to leave them room, then punching the victim in the face. Ford then punched the man several more time before he fell and hit his head on the table.
Police said when they spoke to the victim, he could not remember his address or that he was interviewing an employee.
He was transported to Gateway Medical Center.
Ford was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $25,000.
