Kentucky State Police found 16 baggies of marijuana in suspect's vehicle

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – A Clarksville man was arrested Monday by Kentucky State Police (KSP) for drug-related charges on I-24 in Oak Grove, Ky.

Brandon Jones, 26, was stopped by a trooper for a traffic violation around 8:54 p.m. when Trooper Ryan Fox smelled marijuana inside the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, the trooper found 16 baggies of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Jones was arrested without incident and booked into the Christian County Jail. He was charged with speeding, marijuana trafficking (less than 8 ounces), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
