CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Clarksville man has been arrested by the FBI for threatening to kill immigrants and “go to war” against the American government.
Bryan C. Perry, 37, of Clarksville, and Jonathan S. O’Dell, 32, of Warsaw, Missouri, were charged on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

In September, the FBI National Threats Operation Center received an anonymous tip about threats on a TikTok account, according to an FBI statement sent to Clarksville Now.
After conducting surveillance on social media accounts, the FBI determined that Perry and O’Dell were trying to forcibly secure the border between the United States and Mexico, which included taking lives if necessary, the FBI said. The two men were trying to recruit a group of other men to travel with them to border to shoot immigrants.
Plans for war
“I am probably the only one right now that is ready to go to war against this government, and I don’t mean just talk about it, I mean grab my rifle and go to DC and take this country back physically, not sit in a basement and talk about it,” Perry was recorded as saying on a TikTok post, the FBI said.
O’Dell also allegedly made threats on Sept. 25, in a video posted on TikTok.
Both men were at O’Dell’s home in Warsaw, Missouri, preparing to leave for Texas, the FBI said.
Federal charges
On Oct. 7, the FBI executed a search warrant on O’Dell’s residence and took both men into custody.
The federal criminal complaint charges Perry with one count of transmitting a threat across state lines to injure another person, one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of forcibly assaulting an FBI agent with a deadly weapon.
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Casey Clark and Trial Attorney Jacob Warren from the Counterterrorism Section of the Justice Department’s National Security Division.
