CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man has been charged with animal cruelty after he allegedly abused an 8-week-old puppy.
According to an arrest warrant, Jeffery Wilson Jr., 21, threw the puppy against a wall at least twice and then threw it outside.

The dog was taken to a veterinarian to make sure it did not have any serious injuries.
Wilson’s roommate told Animal Control that Wilson hit, kicked, and threw the puppy after it urinated on his jeans.
The puppy is now in protective custody.
Wilson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday on a $500 bond.
