CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been charged after allegedly neglecting an elderly woman he was supposed to be caring for.
According to an arrest warrant, the 65-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with nine open wounds. Officials said she was also dehydrated and malnourished when she was admitted to the hospital.
The warrant said the woman was the victim of serious bodily injury due to gross negligence.
The 56-year-old suspect, William Greene, was charged with gross negligence and physical abuse of the elderly. His bond was set at $10,000.
