CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High School football announced its third annual Hall of Fame class before their Aug. 22 Hall of Fame Game against Blackman High School. The class includes 11 individuals, as well as inducting the 2000-01 team.

“This class is a really quality group of men,” said Clarksville High head coach Isaac Shelby. “They all had fantastic careers for CHS, and they all played a part in laying the foundations of our current program. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them.”

The third Hall of Fame class for Clarksville High Football includes Derek Crass, Haskell Fink, Chris Fletcher, Jim Foster, Justin Johnson, Zach Lane, Esau Lathon, Marcus Lawrence, LaRance Pardue, Gary Shepherd, and Taylor Stanley. Stanley, Larence, and Johnson are all current members of the Wildcats coaching staff.

The team induction for this year’s class is the 2000-01 team, which ended a 20-year playoff drought. The Wildcats went 9-1 that season, and hosted the first home playoff game in school history. In that game, they defeated Tullahoma 34-26. That team features eight individual Hall of Famers.

The class will be inducted pregame before the Wildcats kick off their season against the Blackman Blaze at Hilda J. Richardson on Friday, hoping to keep their 25-game regular season win streak alive.
