CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High has had two players selected as the Clarksville Now Player of the Week due to the numbers they compiled during the Wildcats latest win against the Northwest Vikings.
The Wildcats hosted the Vikings on Sept. 29 and walked away with their seventh consecutive victory as their undefeated season continues to progress. The final score of the game ended up being 55-0 as Clarksville High dominated in every phase of the game.

CHS running back Payton Langan led the offensive attack for the Wildcats alongside James Dalrymple, who was named player of the week earlier in the season. Langan racked up 7 carries for 188 rushing yards, 1 touchdown and 1 two-point conversion, which earned the senior recognition as one of the players of the week.
CHS defensive back Isaiah Soto was the other student-athlete named player of the week after being a ball hawk in the secondary throughout the Wildcats matchup. Soto ended the game with not one, not two, but three interceptions on the night. The senior also had 5 tackles against the Vikings.
