CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Clarksville pulled out a big win against district rival Rossview on Wednesday.

The Wildcats trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs. CHS’s Garrett Spain hit a ball and two runs scored off an error. The Wildcats walked-off with a 4-3 district win. Spain went 2 for 4 to lead CHS.

Wildcat left-hander Gavin Hams struck out five batters, allowed three runs and nine hits over six and two-thirds innings. Colton Reeves came in to finish the game.

Hawk pitcher Austin Jackson threw one strike-out, one walk and only allowed two runs and five hits. Gage Bradley came in and struck out five batters and walked one. He only allowed two runs and one hit in two and two-thirds innings.

Tennessee commit Elijah Pleasants led Rossview with three hits.

The series between these two teams has always been the must-watch of the season and this year didn’t disappoint. Yesterday’s game at Rossview went the other way with the Hawks picking up the 2-0 shutout.

Clarksville plays district rival Northwest on Monday. Rossview plays district rival Northeast on Monday.
