CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High girls’ volleyball met with Dickson County on Monday as the two sides battled for a chance to become regional champions.
The Wildcats controlled the match throughout the contest, and won three consecutive sets (25-19, 26-24, 25-14) to become 2023 regional champions. With the victory, Clarksville moves their overall record to 31-10 on the season.
According to Max Preps, the Wildcats have won seven consecutive matches dating back to Oct. 1. Clarksville High is now scheduled to face Houston High School (24-12) out of Germantown in a sectional matchup.
According to the TSSAA class AAA region tournament bracket, the winner between the two schools would go on to qualify for the state tournament. The contest between Clarksville and Houston is set to begin on Thursday at 5 p.m.
