CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville High School held a National Signing Day ceremony Wednesday and five CHS students were recognized for their achievements in high school and wished well as they further their education and their athletic future.

Football signees included Brevon Johnson who has signed on as a Linebacker for the Governors at Austin Peay State University and K’Marhie Dix will play as an athlete with Antelope Valley Junior College in Lancaster, California.

Three CHS students signed up for soccer Wednesday. Gybson Roth signed with APSU’s Governors, while Alexis Hayes and Tennessee Barkalow both signed to play with Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.

“These guys are what we consider the leaders of the school. In the hallways, in the classroom, on the field, on the court. They’re going to be missed because of who they are, what they bring to Clarksville High and what they do for our community,” said CHS Assistant Principal, Athletic Director and Academy Administrator, Shannon Cummings.
