CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Trick-or-treaters may be forced to stay indoors this Halloween in Clarksville.
A cold front will bring a line of rain and thunderstorms to Middle Tennessee and the Clarksville area from Wednesday through Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service says rainfall totals will range from 1 to 4 inches through this time frame.
Areas that receive the heaviest rain could see minor flooding on roadways and experience rises on local creeks and streams.

There will likely be showers in the morning on Wednesday, Oct. 31 (Halloween) with showers and thunderstorms likely after 1 p.m. Wind gusts will be as high as 25 mph.
Wednesday night’s low temperature will be around 56 degrees.
The City of Clarksville does not designate trick-or-treat times. In Hopkinsville, Ky. and Erin, TN officials have moved city Halloween events planned for downtown areas to Tuesday.
