CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Texas Roadhouse held the 1st annual Red vs Blue Rib Eating Contest for charity on Saturday afternoon.
An eight-member team from Clarksville Fire Rescue represented the “Red Team” to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The “Blue Team” was an eight-member team from the Sheriff’s Reserve and raised money for the Bubba Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Each team will receive 30 percent of the money raised and the winning team will get an extra 30 percent.
The “Red Team” from Clarksville Fire Rescue won the inaugural event, finishing in about 12 minutes.
