CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Mayor Joe Pitts, Fire Chief Freddie Montgomery and Clarksville Fire Rescue will host Clarksville’s annual ceremony honoring fallen firefighters and the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001.
The remembrance will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, at Clarksville’s Fire Station No.1, 802 Main Street. It will include placement of a memorial wreath, bell ringing, guest speakers, presentation of flowers to families of fallen firefighters.
All fire service, law enforcement and emergency services personnel, the Clarksville City Council, City Department leaders, Montgomery County Elected Leaders and Clarksville-Montgomery County citizens are cordially invited to attend.
