CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) On Friday, May 12th, seven firefighters were sworn in to serve the city of Clarksville. Sean Humphries, Brooklyn Lyle, Robert Bruce, Josh Banker, Luke Culwell, Ja’kyari Jenkins and Michael Johns took the firefighter oath.

The new recruits just completed six weeks of extensive training which included 240 hours of basic firefighter training, CPR, first aid, hazardous materials and defensive driving. These firefighters were hired to fill vacancies left by recent retirements and promotions at Clarksville Fire Rescue. The seven firefighters were assigned to their shifts and will start Monday morning.
