CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Fire Rescue received a generous donation of $5,000 from Alexis Goines Allstate Insurance.
Goines said for the past two years her office has held a Fall Safety Fest with participation from Clarksville Fire Rescue and as a result of her team’s volunteer efforts, the Allstate Foundation has allowed her to award the grant.
“As a new business owner I feel that it’s important to serve the community that we’re doing business in and I’m happy that my efforts have been able to resolve in the grant as well as other nonprofit organizations we’ve been able to get some funding to,” said owner Alexis Goines.
Fire Chief Freddie Montgomery said it was a great honor to receive the donation and it would be used in the area of fire prevention efforts for the public by Clarksville Fire Rescue.
