Clarksville Fire Rescue celebrates the retirement of six employees

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Fire Rescue celebrated six of their recent retirees at a dinner Thursday night.

Each retiree was presented with a shadow box and a rocking chair.

The Local 3180 Firefighter Union presented their members with an axe. Each retiree was presented with their gifts and then the floor was opened for comments and/or stories.

Engineer Brent Bazzell started working with the department in September 1986 and retired in January 2018.

Captain Tim Dunaway started working with the department in February 1990 and retired in January 2018.

Lieutenant Gary Puskas started working with the department in May 1979 and retired in March 2018

Engineer Carlton Terry started working with the department in March 1979 and retired in March 2018.

Engineer William Johnson started working with the department in September 1998 and transferred to Clarksville Transit in May 2018.

Firefighter David Matlock started with the department in March 2001 and retired in June 2018.
