CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – After competing in regionals this past weekend, three gymnasts from the Clarksville Elite Gymnastics Center qualified for the USA East National Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Lunden Lowe, Lena Spencer and Ally Suss will each compete May 2-5 for chance to become national champions.
The news comes after the Clarksville Elite Gymnastics Center had 127 gymnasts compete at the state level this past March. Of those 127 gymnasts, 94 took home a state title, which marked the most in club history across all gyms represented at the Tennessee meet.

“I have been coaching now for 23 years, and as our team grows and becomes more successful, it seems like all of our hard work and dedication is paying off,” said CEGC head coach Shenette Gavi.
“This gymnastics team leaves us speechless. It is something else to witness the incredible synergy and dedication of this talented group as they push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of gymnastics. Proud is an understatement for this remarkable team – their hard work, passion and teamwork speak volumes. Our success wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic group of coaches,” Gavi said.

Not only did gymnasts from each level take home state championships, but levels two, three, four and nine all went undefeated throughout their journey. Currently, the level nine squad is ranked 11th in the nation for their AA team score, while being ranked third on their floor score.
