Festivities are free of charge and offer something for visitors of all ages:
• Pop-Up Markets at McGregor Park ‐- 3:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug 22 & Sept 12: Stop by to shop fresh produce and meats from a handful of market vendors. SNAP benefits will be accepted.
• Market Scavenger Hunt — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25: Get to know the vendors, discover how the farmers get the food from the field to the market, and learn how to recognize what is in season by participating in our market scavenger hunt. Winners take home a free Market shirt!
• College Football Saturday — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1: Visitors to the market are encouraged to wear their favorite college or university’s colors to show their team spirit and excitement for the return of college football.
• Paws for a Cause Dog Day & the Market Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6: The market has gone to the dogs! Bring your four-legged family member for a costume contest and a day of shopping, crafts, giveaways and more.
