CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Crossovers basketball program won the 5th annual Battle of the Basketball Titans, which feature some of the top teams in the South.
The tournament was held in Nashville last weekend.
The Crossovers 2027 played in a very competitive division and went 2-0 on Saturday beating Shelbyville Tigers 32-16. In a battle of two Top 25 National Ranked Programs they beat NYBA Elite 43-37. The team headed into Championship play Sunday and beat NYBA 2028 35-27 and NYBA Elite 2027 38-32 to claim the Championship title.
This team is coach by Lorenzo Wells and Huey Johnson. A few of the prominent players included Malachi Jordan, Tylin George, Montavuis Mclardy, Bryce Garnett, Demaruis Simmons, Johnathan Johnson, Camahry Miller, Daniel Jimenez, Jr., Kio’voney Gilmore and Daylen Buchanan
The next stops for the Clarksville Crossovers will be the 12th annual Battle of the Boro, The Battle of Magic City Showcase, 2K19 5 series and Global Grassroots Pre-Nationals.
